Dodgers Dan Haren perfect for five innings in 2-1 win over Angels
Dodgers right-hander Dan Haren recoup from his embarrassing start of 0-5 with a 10.03 earned-run average. Last Wednesday August 6, against the Angels which has the 2nd best record in baseball Haren had a perfect game, he limits the Angels to one run and 3 hits in 7 1/3 innings of the Dodgers' 2-1 victory in Angel Stadium.
In another Baseball news, Yankees outpitch Tigers. Chris Capuano beat Justin Verlander while Brian McCann and Chase Headley homered to give the New York Yankees a 5-1 win over the Detroit Tigers Wednesday night.
