Top Selling Jersey in baseball Goes to Derek Jeter's No. 2
Derek Jeter's final home game will be on Thursday, September 25, 2014 and he said he is done and will retire next season but still fans are buying his No. 2 jersey and you can expect that it will keep on selling in the future.
ESPN reports, Derek Jeter's No. 2 Yankees jersey is the top-selling baseball jersey of all time according to Majestic Athletic.
Jim Pisani president of Majestic Athletic said, "Derek just resonates with all demographics, all across the country. He is really the only jersey that you consistently see at opposing ballparks, which is why he has been at the top for the last decade."
Pisani also said that the reason behind it is only because of Jeter playing 20 seasons with the Yankees and giving the teams wins, it is also because of the change in marketing during his time. After Derek plays for the league, sporting goods stores actually expanded and with the expansion quality also improves. The most important factor is the internet, it change how marketing is done. Also, Yankees won 4 out of 5 World Series titles from 1996 to 2000.
Jeter will play his last game at Yankees Stadium on Thursday and his final game ever Sunday at Fenway Park.

Will Floyd Mayweather ever Fight Manny Pacquiao?
Boxer Manny Pacquiao issue a challenge to Floyd Mayweather Jr yet again Thursday, September 18, 2014 challenging the recent winner of the Mayweather-Maidana 2 to fight him instead of setting impossible terms that can't be agreed upon.
Pacquiao during the interview said: "He's all talk. Until now he has not yet agreed to fight me. Instead of blabbing, he should face me atop the ring."
"I'm tired of his alibis. If he really wants to fight me, he knows how to reach me. We can fight anytime, anywhere. To me, Maidana won that fight. Mayweather's face and lips were swelling compared to Maidana's unblemished face."
Pacquiao is now 35 and have won world titles in 8th separate weight divisions. He is now preparing to defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against another undefeated American, Chris Algieri, that will be held in Macau China this November.
Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum said that Floyd Mayweather is now losing his fan base because of his boring fights. During an interview with the South China Morning Post he said,"His PPV numbers have been going down considerably. For example his numbers from the Maidana fight were considerably less than the first fight and less than Pacquiao did when he fought Bradley. What that tells us is that people are getting disgusted with Mayweather and his base is eroding, particularly his urban base in the United States because he’s fighting with very popular rap stars, the urban population is not happy with a lot that goes on in his personal life.”
