Cung Le Tested Positive for HGH Banned

Cung Le, HGH, roids, drugs, steroids

Cung Le tested positive for banned substance HGH. Cung Le said that the Instagram photo of him showing a more muscular physique was just a result of luck. The timing was just right and the lighting was good which is why he appears to be more muscular. However, based on a test result it appears that muscle growth was not luck but with the help of Human Growth Hormone. UFC made a statement on their website last Tuesday September 30 that Le tested positive for HGH after the August 23 loss to Michael Bisping that was held in Macau, china. Le was knocked out in the 4th round.

Michael Bisping saw the Instagram photo and requested UFC to test both blood and urine for that fight. UFC said that Cung Le will be suspended for 9 months, and he will need to pass a drug test before he can fight again in the UFC.

Top Track and Field Sprinters Tested Positive for banned substances

Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell, Sherone Simpson, banned substances, steroids

Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell, Sherone Simpson, banned substances, steroids

Sprinters Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson admitted Sunday that they had tested positive for banned substances.

Tyson Gay is an American champion in 100 meters while Jamaica's Powell is the former world-record holder in the 100 meters. Sherone Simpson of Jamaica has won a gold and two silver Olympic medals.

Gay, who is the winner of world championship in the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay in 2007, took part in the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency's "My Victory" program - in which athletes volunteer for enhanced testing to prove they're clean - and his results never raised red flags. Until, that is, an out-of-competition test May 16 that yielded positive results for a banned substance, the identity of which neither he nor USADA CEO Travis Tygart would reveal.

Powell 30,  holder of 100-meter record of 9.74 stood until Usain Bolt beat it in 2008, wants an investigation as to how a stimulant called oxilofrine entered his system and caused a positive test at Jamaica's national championships in June.

Simpson, who tested positive for the same stimulant, said she "would not intentionally take an illegal substance of any form into my system."

The positives recorded by Powell and Simpson are part of a bigger doping crisis hitting Jamaica. In Sunday's editions, The Gleaner newspaper of Jamaica reported that five athletes had tested positive. Paul Doyle, the agent who represents Powell and Simpson, confirmed to the AP that his sprinters were among them.

Why not just legalized steroids use in sports? I'm pretty sure it is used even in NBA and other sports they are just not getting caught. Legalized it for a level playing field.
