Harry was able to get a little space against Dallas corner Byron Jones. Harry, who was running looked back and saw the ball coming but toward the sideline, he twisted his body to face the incoming ball and leaped and caught the ball and hung on as Jones shoved him off balance.

Buffalo Bills Made History By Hiring NFL's first full-time female coach

Kathryn Smith, Buffalo Bills, NFL, sports, football

The Buffalo Bills promoted Kathryn Smith last Wednesday night for their special teams quality control coach on Rex Ryan's staff, making her the NFL's first full-time female coach.

She will assist special teams coordinator Danny Crossman and his assistant Eric Smith, she will replace Michael Hamlin who was not retained.

Her appointment comes after Jen Welter did a 6 week training camp internship last summer coaching inside linebackers for the Arizona Cardinals.

Smith served as the administrative assistant to head coach Rex Ryan this season after working for 12 years for the New York Jets, including the final 6 with Ryan as Jets head coach.

Bills offensive lineman Richie Incognito expressed his support for Smith in a tweet.

"Congrats Kathryn!! I know you will do a great job," Incognito said in a post that included a thumb's up and smiley face.

This is not the first time the Bills broke the gender barrier. Linda Bogdan, in 1986, became the NFL's first female scout, when she joined the team's player personnel department. Bogdan, who died in 2009, was the daughter of late Bills Hall of Fame owner Ralph Wilson.

Buffalo Bills beat New York Jets 22-17 Rex Ryan Get his payback

NFL, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, Rex Ryan

Rex Ryan former head coach of the Jets, he was fired this offseason, got his 27th career victory at MetLife Stadium Thursday night as his team Buffalo Bills win against New York Jets 22-17.

Bills (5-4) win earned them a tie for one of the two wild card spots in the AFC with the Jets (5-4) and Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4).

The Jets' had too many miscues specially in 4 pivotal turnovers that dig them under. When Jets receiver Brandon Marshall pull up a 14-yard pass for a touchdown in the third quarter, coach Todd Bowles decided to kick the extra point to put the score at 22-10 rather than to go for the two-point conversion.

Then when they are desperate to cancel a two-touchdown lead, Bowles later went for it on 4th-and-2 early in the 4th quarter, but New York ended up turning the ball over on downs.

It was one stretch in the second quarter, however, that put the Jets in a deep hole they could never climb out of. After Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw an interception to Bills safety Corey Graham, Buffalo took advantage of the excellent field position and converted a Dan Carpenter field goal four plays later, knotting the game at 3-3.

About the New York Jets defense, Tom Brady said, "They’ve got a phenomenal defense." Jets ranked number 1 in defense. “It’s a big challenge for us. There’s a lot of experience, a lot of high draft picks on that defense, and they’re playing as well as any defense in the league”, he added.

NFL Thursday, November 27

NFL , NFL Thanksgiving, football

Chicago Bears (5-6) vs. Detroit Lions (7-4)

The Lions has not been doing good lately they lost to Arizona Cardinals (6-14) then got clobbered by the New England Patriots (9 - 34), while the Chicago Bears beat Buccaneers 21-13. The last meeting of the two teams Lions beat Bears 21-19, November 10, 2013. My call is that the Lions the Bears, hey the Lions were up against two top teams in Cardinals 9-2 while the Patriots are also 9-2 and Detroit will be fighting for the playoffs.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) vs. Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

Eagles and Cowboys will be battling for the top spot in the NFC East get ready for this showdown. This is a hard pick since both are good teams but I'll pick the Cowboys since they ussually play well on Thanksgiving. The Eagles  can score points but it'll be the Cowboys defense that will control the game.

Seattle Seahawks (7-4) vs San Francisco 49ers (7-4)

The NFC West rivals will face off Thursday night, this is the first matchup of the two in 18 days, the 49ers are looking for a 6th consecutive home victory against the Seahawks. This is be a great game, Seahawks has the advantage in offense since lately the 49ers offense is not good. They are out of rhythm. I think 49ers will still come through and take this game.

DENVER - Denver Broncos 52 Philadelphia Eagles 20

Peyton Manning efficiency is unmatched as the Denver Broncos scored in bunches to blow out the Eagles 52-20  Manning's four touchdown throws is epic.

Manning's 16 TD passes for the first month of the season has now eclipse Don Meredith 14 TD passes in 1966, it was tied by Kurt Warner in 1999. Peyton Manning and Milt Plum (1960) are the only quarterbacks to throw that number of touchdown passes without an interception.

Adrian Peterson’s daughter disappointed about the loss

Even Adrian Peterson daughter is mad about the Viking's loss. They should have handled the Browns easily with Brian Hoyer starting, their third-string quarterback, a week ago, and had just traded away running back Trent Richardson. The Vikings instead fell to 0-3 with a 31-27 loss.

Jake Locker threw for 133 yards and goes for a touchdown, and Tennessee sacked Matt Ryan five times Saturday night as the Titans beat the Falcons 27-16.

Elvis Dumervil staying with Denver Broncos

Elvis Dumervil, NFL, Denver Broncos

Elvis Dumervil was staying with the Denver Broncos. And then, he wasn't.

On another busy day of NFL free agency, the highlight - or lowlight - came after a strange sequence of events in which the Broncos and the defensive end reached an agreement on a new deal that ended up not valid because the paperwork was filed too late.

And now, Dumervil is a free agent. Broncos front office chief John Elway said the team delivered its final contract proposal to Dumervil at 11 a.m. and set a 1 p.m. deadline for a decision. Elway said Dumervil accepted the contract at around 1:25 and ''although we expressed our concern regarding the time constraints, we were assured that the signed documents would be submitted to us before the league's waiver deadline.''
''We did not receive the documents from Elvis by the league's deadline and were forced to release him shortly before 2 p.m. MDT,'' Elway said.

Dumervil's agent, Marty Magid, did not return messages left by AP via text and voicemail.

Also Friday, Greg Jennings left Green Bay to head to rival Minnesota, Dustin Keller became the latest member of the Jets to leave and Kevin Kolb was released by Arizona.

Jennings spent seven years getting the best of the Vikings' secondary while playing for their bitter rivals in Green Bay. No longer feeling as important to the Packers after two seasons shortened by injuries, Jennings crossed the border and found a team that welcomed him with desperately open arms. Jennings signed a five-year contract with the Vikings on Friday.

Who will win Super Bowl XLVII Ravens-49ers

Sprinter's speed makes San Francisco's Colin Kaepernick truly dangerous. Baltimore's Joe Flacco is a classic drop-back passer.

Ravens Anquan Boldin has been playing great this postseason and his teammate Torrey Smith will play as a deep threat, that can mean trouble for the 49ers.

Raven's Lewis has 44 tackles in the past three playoff wins and he has been great in the Raven's defense. The Raven's have a pretty good front seven that can dominate the game.

San Francisco 49ers will need to run with Kaepernick's speed, he can dominate the game. San Francisco has the most talented defense in the NFL.

Brady throws record 6 TDs defeat Broncos

New England advanced to next weekend’s AFC championship game at home against the winner of Sunday’s game between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens game with a 45-10 thrashing of Denver. The Patriots, as they have been wont to do over the years, played at a relentless pace for much of the game as Brady finished with an NFL playoff-record-tying six touchdown passes and a team record for passing yards (363) in a playoff game.

The Patriots’ defense is just too much for the Bronco's. Tebow completed just nine of 26 passes for 136 yards and no touchdowns and rushed for only 13 yards on five carries. With New England up 42-7, the fans began chanting, “Teeee-bow . . . Teee-bow.” On the next play, he was sacked for an 11-yard loss — one of five sacks for New England’s 31st-ranked defense.
